The photo is of the party who went into Oxted with handbills. They are : Richard Allen (the producer) in borrowed costume, Katie Challis (Mercy Lewis) and Peter Shore (Judge Hathorne). We did well, 550 handbills in a couple of hours!! Hope it helps ticket sales.

So a long day today . 13:00 fixing Act 1, 14:30 running, 17:30 pizza, 19:00 running again (pre-dress).

We need to lose 20 minutes off the running time. Obviously we don't want to cut the play, so we're trying to find other ways to achieve it. Pace is one big way to do this - not necessarily speed of delivery, but cue bites etc. Hopefully this will make a big dent (I'll let you know tomorrow!).

Bruce has returned from holiday and the set build is coming on in leaps and bounds! I give real credit to the team, it was a difficult build, and they've never said "no" (yet!). Looking forward to seeing it all with costumes etc. today. Hopefully more photos soon!

So, This is basically it. Pre-dress tonight, dress on Tuesday and we open on Wednesday! Wish us luck!
